Slithraa is a member of the Hypnobrai snake tribe. He is similar to General Skales but with legs and different patterns.

Background

Slithraa was the original general of the Hypnobrai tribe. When Lloyd Garmadon stumbled upon their tomb and released them, Slithraa tried to hypnotize Lloyd into obedience. Unfortunatly, he hypnotized himself because Lloyd fell down and the circular beams reflected off a stalagmite. After that, Lloyd took control of him. When Lloyd first started using them as a personal army, Slithraa never questioned his orders. When they attacked Jamonicia village, Cole knocked the Snake Staff out of his hand. Lloyd called the retreat, and Slithraa ordered his troops to fall back. At the end of the 1st episode, he is seen arguing with his second in command, Skales.

After the battle with the ninjas, they began to work on building a treehouse for Lloyd. He tells Skales to stop slacking and get to work. Later, the treehouse is destroyed and the stolen staff is recovered. Skales claims right to the staff, and he challenges him to fight for it in the "Slither Pit". The two face off, and the commander of the slither pit tells them to retrieve two weapons. The commander of the battle then turns the floor on an angle, and Skales uses the distraction to entrance the general when he tries to entrance Skales. Skales uses fang-kwon-do and defeats Slithraa, then takes the staff. Skales grew a tail, and Slithraa grew legs and lost his tail.

Notes

• He only had two major appearances in the tv show: Mostly as the Hypnobrai General and the new second in command in "Rise of the Snakes" and "Home" .
• Slithraa's last dialogue to date was "I shall do as you command" because Skales defeated him and he fell under his control.
• Slithraa only appears in one of the 2012 sets, excluding his own spinner.
• On his spinner's character card, he has the yellow Hypnobrai general symbol on his ears, even though he's no longer the Hypnobrai general. Also, he has the Hypnobrai snake staff as a weapon in the same set. However, In Snake Battle, Rattla has the Hypnobrai snake staff as a weapon.
• He is known as "Hypnobrai General" in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and is voiced by John Novak.
