Garmadon Sacraficing Himself?

There's been a LOT of activity for Ninjago regarding the series- and according to floating rumors about the "final hour", Garmadon sacrifices himself to destroy the Great Devourer. Where was this information recieved from? Can anyone confirm this is true? Just wanted someone to clarify in case I delete it from the notes section of Garmadon's page on account of it actually being true.

If you have seen episode 13, you know that Garmadon does sacrifice himself, but does NOT die. He escapes with the weapons. This page makes it sound like Garmadon DID die, but he DIDN'T. Can somebody fix that? Thanks!
