Description[]
The Tank Gunner has Ryo's bright orange suit and a black version of Hikaru's hair, which would later be shared with Hitomi.
Naming Discrepancy[]
The Tank Gunner was originally intended to be a unique character named Genki, according to Greg Farshtey.[2] He was changed to a generic character per Denmark's decision.[3]
The Tank Gunner was unnamed in the product description for 7705 Gate Assault, which generically refers to him and Ha-Ya-To as the two human pilot minifigures.[4] He is mistaken for Ryo in the Shop At Home Spring 2006 catalog.[5]
He is mistaken for Hitomi in his My LEGO Network sticker.
Background[]
The Tank Gunner helps Ha-Ya-To and Ryo defend Tenchii Bridge from the robot army. He mans the cannons of the First Gate and Mobile Defense Tank, and he pilots the Swift.
