The Batman Who Laughs is a DC Comics minifigure who appears in LEGO Fortnite. He is a version of Batman and The Joker from the Dark Multiverse.
Background[]
On his native Earth-22, Batman was driven to kill the Joker after the Clown Prince of Crime committed the act of murdering parents in front of their children, then dosing the children with Joker Gas. But upon his death, Joker's body unleashed a new variant of his Joker Gas, which Batman inhaled by accident.
The gas slowly transformed Batman into the Joker, and he began killing the other heroes of his Earth from the Batfamily to other members of the Justice League. Eventually, he took on the identity of the Batman Who Laughs and was recruited by Barbatos in his mission to invade the mainstream universe.

The Batman Who Laughs is a purchasable skin in-game for 1,500 V-Bucks or with The Batman Who Laughs Bundle for 2,200 V-Bucks. He could have also be obtained by redeeming a code found in a copy of Batman/Fortnite: Foundation for $4.99.
