The Calm Before the Storm is the one hundred and seventy-seventh episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu
Plot [ ] A ship is caught in a storm out on the Endless Sea , which proves to be the work of a now very much awake Wojira being ridden by Kalmaar . At the Ninjago City docks, Glutinous appears from the water, claiming to have an urgent message for the Ninja. Elsewhere, Jay visits an arcade only to find Nya playing their favorite dancing game , and the two work together to perform a new move she's invented called "the Electric Jaya". Their performance ends up breaking the machine, much to the awe of their audience, but the pair then receive a message from Wu .
Benthomaar , Wu, and some of the Ninja arrive at police headquarters, where Glutinous informs them of Kalmaar's success in awakening Wojira. He also explains that Kalmaar tricked Nya, allowing her to steal the fake Storm Amulet from him during their last encounter while he escaped with the real one. Over Glutinous' protests, Kalmaar awakened Wojira, using his trident to inflict pain upon the serpent in order to enforce her obedience. Having been horrified by the sight, Glutinous headed straight for Ninjago City, having last seen Kalmaar two days previously.
Wu alerts P.I.X.A.L. that they will need the combat submersibles she has been developing within a matter of hours, and the Ninja join in coordinating an evacuation of the city. Unfortunately, just as the warning goes out, storm clouds darken the skies above Ninjago City. As the citizens flee, Gayle Gossip reports on events from the docks, only to be present as Wojira sweeps into the city in the midst of a giant tidal wave.
