The Council of the Crystal King is the one hundred and ninety-second episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, and the twelfth episode of season fifteen.
Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.
As the disguised Lloyd follows the Crystal Spider through Ninjago City's underground, the Ninja follow in the Mechanic's truck, not noticing as the Mechanic is able to free himself from his bonds. The spider leads Lloyd back to the abandoned subway tunnel where they found the last vengestone shipment, and opens a secret passageway that he enters to find a highly advanced monorail car. The vehicle rapidly transports Lloyd away from the other Ninja, who are then attacked by the Mechanic. He causes the truck to crash and then escapes into the subway system, where he attacks the Ninja yet again.
Another Crystal Spider observes this confrontation, and the Mechanic leaves to make his way to the Crystal King. Cole attempts to warn Lloyd over the radio but loses contact before he can finish his message, leaving the original four Ninja at a loss. Meanwhile, Lloyd arrives at the end of the monorail line to find a room filled with statues made out of vengestone. Following another Crystal Spider up a flight of stairs, he arrives in the council chamber to find Pythor, Vangelis, Aspheera, and a face that is both new and familiar: Mr. F.
Lloyd keeps up his ruse, and he and the villains are surprised when the masked messenger they have all encountered previously reveals that they are not the Crystal King. The messenger then reveals that there is an impostor in their midst, and a Crystal Spider then projects footage of the real Mechanic fighting with the other Ninja. The villains then attack Lloyd, who despite putting up a brave fight is soon subdued and left on the verge of falling unconscious. Having learned that Lloyd was attempting to uncover their identity, the messenger begins singing a familiar tune as they remove their mask to reveal another old face: Harumi.
Spoilers end here.
Clutch Powers is seen in the street when the Mechanic's truck crashes, carrying what appears to be the Teapot of Tyrahn.
The messenger's line about "an imposter among us" is likely a reference to the Among Us video game.
