The Message is the one hundred and eighteenth episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, and the twentieth episode of season eleven.

Plot[]

Cole recounts the events of Aspheera's defeat and Zane's disappearance to several Ice Fisher children, only to terrify them. Boma and Uthaug then approach with a piece of Lloyd's gi, though the other ninja are helpless to aid him. Lloyd continues his journey with his wolf companion, sharing with her his troublesome history with his father Garmadon. Homing in on the signal leading to his Titan Mech, Lloyd enters a misty area despite the wolf's objections.

The area proves to be the territory of a massive bird who attacks the pair, forcing them to flee into a nearby cavern. Inside, they locate the mech and a recorded message from Zane, who recounts his attempts to repair the damaged mech. In case of failure, he leaves a testimonial of his life and friends, and bids farewell to his beloved P.I.X.A.L. Moved by the recording, Lloyd resolves to finish what Zane started, and despite his inferior skills is able to get the mech running again.

With the Titan Mech operational, Lloyd exits the cavern and handily defeats the giant bird, which retreats in fear. Now carrying the wolf in one of the mech's hands, Lloyd sets out to find his missing friend.

Notes[]

  • Cole's comment that he thinks the adventures of the Ninja are appropriate for children "Aged 5-13" is presumably a reference to the age range at which Ninjago is aimed.
