Thunderfang is a dragon from Ninjago: Dragons Rising introduced in 2025.
Background[]
Thunderfang was a warrior dragon who obtained chaotic powers from consuming the souls of his vanquished enemies, becoming known as the Shatter Dragon. Prideful over his prowess, he aspired to be one of the Source Dragons. However, this was denied him, and in a rage he attacked the City of Temples. Thunderfang’s rampage was halted by the Arc Dragon of Focus, whose powers were a natural counter to Thunderfang’s Chaos. Thunderfang was thus defeated and imprisoned deep underground.
Unfortunately, Thunderfang’s evil would continue to plague the realms even as he remained trapped. In a bid to achieve freedom, he empowered the Forbidden Five as Elemental Masters, intending for them to seek out the Prismatic Blades needed to sever his chains.

- In Dragons Rising he is voiced by Deven Mack, whose roles in the series also include Arin and Nokt. Mack has also provided the voice of Thanos in a couple Lego projects, and was the voice of Vangelis in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.
