Trial by Fire is the thirtieth episode but is the fourth episode in Season 3.
Plot[]
Fluminox tells the story of the Fire and Ice Clans. That many centuries ago, Phoenix City was on Cavora, which was still on the ground. It was the highest mountain in all the land. They saw the Ice Clans and other Catlike animals. They attempted to have them learn but this worked to no avail. One Saber Tooth named Sir Fangar was interested in reading. He used the power he learned from a book to have the hunters devastate Chima. The phoenix rescued any Cat animals from the Hunters fury and used 8 powerful objects to defeat them, bring back the life in Chima and create Chima. The power made Cavora rise from the land and created an energy field to make Cavora rise up and anything in the Gorge of Eternal Depth go down. This is what the Phoenix called the Great Illumination. The illumination also stole heat from the hunters causing them to freeze. The water that came from Cavora caused animals to evolve and the Phoenix carved the animals heads on the falls to honor them. Fluminox explains that CHI combined with the ice that froze them to make them have powerful ice powers and introduces fire CHI and Eris is the first to try it, yet when Laval and Cragger try, they must pass a special rite of passage first. Meanwhile, at the beaver lodge, the Ice Clan is getting closer to taking over, until Laval, Eris, and Cragger come to the rescue with their cool new fire powers!
