The Troll Warrior,^[1]^[2]^[3] also known as Troll Warrior Orc^[4]^[5] or Orc,^[6] comprises an enemy faction from Castle and was introduced in 2008. They fought against the Crown Knights and Dwarves.

Description[]

Troll Warriors have sand green skin on their arms, hands, and heads. They always have dark stone grey hips and reddish brown legs. Depending on the variant, Troll Warriors may have either a reddish brown or a dark stone grey torso, each one with a different respective armor printing. Most Troll Warriors wear a cool silver, diffuse Helmet, Warrior, which is a unique helmet design.

They are armed with pitted scimitars and carry rectangular shields. The logo of the trolls is an elongated skull that appears on their flags and on their shields, as well as on the sails of their ship.

Background[]

The trolls are in possession of an extensive array of siege engines and even a large ship. There are two main versions of trolls: the smaller minifigure-sized Troll Warriors and the Giant Trolls that are made from special pieces. Among Troll Warriors, there are additional variations such as the Orc Warrior, Double Axe Orc, and Orc Scout.

The trolls' main adversaries are the Crown Knights and the Dwarves. They were hired by the Evil Wizard to help attack the Crown Knights. They were employed as foot soldiers. In return, they were promised the King's gold. The trolls started to attack the Crown Knights about a year after the attack of the skeletons.

Troll Warriors are cowards (unless accompanied by a Giant Troll) and are not too bright, but they are really strong.

Troll Warriors appeared in the animated LEGO DVD The Adventures of Clutch Powers. The Troll Warriors are evil, but the Giant Troll known as Hogar the Troll serves the King because of what the previous king did for him.

A disorderly, disobedient band of thieves and mercenaries, the greedy Trolls travel the world in search of wealthy kingdoms to loot. When the Evil Wizard asked them to help him conquer the Castle, they were only too happy to join him in exchange for promises of gold, jewels and other riches. Though cowards on their own, they act much tougher in a group…especially when they have a Giant Troll to back them up!
