My Wikia!

Hey guys, SuperMoxie 2.9 here, But you can call me Moxie. I have an imagination of crossover movie customs that I’m editing. After I finished with the transcript that I’m doing, have a read and be amazed! I’ve already done Custom: LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Gotham City Breakout and LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Rise of the Spinjitzu Ninjas of Ninjago! transcripts. If you’re fans of LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes, How to Train Your Dragon, LEGO Scooby-Doo! and Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, prepare to be inspired with awesomeness!

My Favorite Team of Protagonists

My favorite teams of protagonists are the Justice League, the Spinjitzu Ninjas of Ninjago and Mystery Incorporated. They are my favorites since 2013 because they are the three teams from three franchises to appear in LEGO Dimensions. Since then, I have loved their personalities and their abilities. When I got a K-Zone Magazine as a kid in 2015, I got a Jay Minifigure and a mini battle mech with it. I began to love Ninjago even more when Jay received an eyepatch from Clancee in Season 6: Skybound and now he is one of my favorite characters in one of the three teams of protagonists.

Types of Ninja

In LEGO's Ninjago theme, the Ninja wear a variety of outfits or gi, denoting various forms and ranks they take over the course of the story. These types mean various things to the consumer, although these changes in appearance are not particularly important, save in the actual spinner game, where they have different levels of Spinjitzu Power, or SP.

Training/Original

The standard Ninja outfit features a simple gi, with the color of the gi corresponding with the wearer's element. There are three ropes being used as a belt, with the fastener bearing the symbol of the wearer's element as well. The outfit also includes a mask that covers the entire head, with a small slit for the eyes.

In the series, the masks appear to be attached to the gi-like hoods, as the Ninja are seen pulling them up from behind when going on a mission.

Several other color variations on the basic Ninja uniform appeared in the show, including a variant of the Green Ninja suit (essentially the ZX suit without the shoulder armor and different headpiece), Zane's pink gi from "Can of Worms," and the "Brown Ninja" outfit (and occasional hood) periodically worn by Dareth. In the first pilot episode, Cole, Jay, and Zane were also seen wearing pure black versions of the basic outfit, when they unknowingly acted as Kai's final test to become a ninja; afterwards, Master Wu gave all four of them their standard outfits. In "Double Trouble," the students of Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys temporarily wore similar ninja gis to combat the Bizarro Ninja. In "Infamous," Lil' Nelson made a purple Ninja hood based on these outfits.

In the Ninjago: Spinjitzu Spinners game, the basic Ninja have 1000 SP: 400 SP in their dominant element, and 300 SP in two other elements.

Dragon eXtreme Gi

The DX Ninja (Dragon eXtreme Ninja), wore Ninja suits with the image of their respective Dragons on it. The dragons are positioned on the right side of the suits—their heads and front claws visible on the shirts and their tails coiling around the front of the pants—and each is breathing their elemental breath (Cole's Earth Dragon breathes Earth; Zane's Ice Dragon breathes Ice; Jay's Lightning Dragon breathes Lightning; and Kai's Fire Dragon breathes Fire). Their elemental symbols are now present on the backs of their suits, along with their individual name. Their Spinners are gold, with smaller details in the color of their elements. In order to achieve this rank, they must completely tame and understand their Elemental Dragons.

In the series, the Ninja gain these uniforms when they ally with the Elemental Dragons in order to retrieve the Golden Weapons from the Underworld. After that adventure, they mainly wore their normal outfits until they received their new ZX suits.

Lloyd's DX suit was not seen in the show and only available in minifigure form with a promotional product. Unlike the other Ninja, his suit has shoulder pads, and a head mask similar to his ZX variant (with the three-pronged headpiece left unpainted).

Kendo Armor

The Kendo Ninja wear their regular color-coded gis under gray armor similar to that of Samurai X. Instead of cloth masks, they wear helmets similar to those used in fencing, with a grate-like mask that protects their faces.

In the series, Kendo gear is used during the Ninjas' training exercises. The Ninja also wear color-coded bandanas under their helmets, and their armor is slightly more detailed and darker in color.

Nya and Lloyd appeared in Kendo Armor in the 2016 Wu Cru game, but were never released as Minifigures nor appeared in the show, as they were not ninja at the time.

Zen eXtreme Armor

The ZX (Zen eXtreme) Ninja wear gis and cloth masks similar to their normal outfits, but with the addition of armor on various parts of their body. The armor design varies between Ninja, but all have a three-pronged piece on the "foreheads" of their masks and rugged armor plates on their shoulders. The back of the suit features a holder for katanas, but the Ninja keep their Golden Weapons there in the show. The dominant color of the armor varies between Ninja; Kai and Zane have golden armor, while Cole and Jay have silver armor. Lloyd has an identical headpiece to Cole and Jay's ZX suits, but his shoulder pads are dark gray.

Some sets feature ZX Ninja without the shoulder armor, usually so they can fit in a vehicle or due to being in a smaller set (such as a polybag).

In the series, the main four Ninja gain their ZX armor in a package from the mailman, delivered in "The Snake King," while Lloyd's ZX suit appears in stages throughout the series. It is first seen as a regular Ninja outfit (lacking the armor on the mask and shoulders) when Kai wore it in "The Green Ninja." By the time Lloyd donned it in "All of Nothing," the headpiece was present, while the shoulder armor appeared after Lloyd was aged into a teenager in "Child's Play." Lloyd's ZX minifigure has darker shoulder pads than in the show.

Nya appeared in ZX robes in the 2016 Wu Cru game, but was never released as a Minifigure nor appeared in the show, as she was not a ninja at the time. The design is similar to that of her first Samurai X outfit, but with ZX masks and shoulder pads.

NRG Gi

The NRG Ninja is when the Ninja unlock their True Potential and convert their dominant element into energy. The main suit consists of a mask similar to the ZX Ninja but the triangular piece on the top is transparent. The suit is dominated by an elaborate design resembling an explosion of the character's primary element, with their elemental symbol at the center of the explosion, on the left side of the chest.

In the series, NRG Ninja appear as their ZX forms (including shoulderpads and suit details), but glowing with light and made of or surrounded by their respective element (Kai becomes surrounded by a sphere of fire, Jay becomes an electrical being, Zane becomes enveloped by a pillar of light, and Cole becomes surrounded by orbiting rocks).

Nya and Lloyd appeared in NRG forms in the 2016 Wu Cru game, but were never released as Minifigures nor appeared in the show, as they were not ninja at the time.

Elemental Robe/Kimono eXtreme

The Ninja gained new suits when they arrived at the Temple of Light and Lloyd struck the Instrument of Peace and received their enhanced powers. Upon gaining these suits, the Ninja obtained new elemental weapons with similar powers to their Golden Weapons. The suits retain the hoods and shoulder pads of the ZX suits, but the gis are mostly black, with their corresponding colors used for details. Additionally, Lloyd's new suit changes his headpiece and shoulder pads from silver and grey to gold. Later, during the final battle against the Overlord in "Rise of the Spinjitzu Master," Lloyd's entire suit becomes golden-colored after he unlocks his full power as the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master.

In LEGO sets, only Lloyd has shoulder pads in his Elemental form. His golden form is also slightly different from the series's interpretation; the gold is darker and more metallic-looking, a few details (such as the characters on the kimono and the sash on his waist) remain green, and Lloyd's face becomes the same shade of gold as his outfit (making it appear somewhat similar to an NRG Ninja).

Nya appeared in Elemental robes in the 2016 Wu Cru game, but was never released as a Minifigure nor appeared in the show, as she was not a ninja at the time.

Techno Gi

The Ninja received these advanced outfits from Borg Industries, along with their Techno Blades. The outfits appear as kimono-like robes in their respective Ninjas' color, with brown and gold highlights and a small medallion near the waist. Unlike previous outfits, the Techno Robes lack a hood, instead having color-coded bandanas that cover the lower half of the face. As such, these are the first Ninja minifigures to have hairpieces—which, naturally, are based on the characters' hairstyles in the series. Also, in the series, the Ninja, except Lloyd, lack black gloves.

As with the Elemental robes, Lloyd is the only Techno Ninja whose outfit includes shoulder pads.

Nya appeared in Techno robes in the 2016 Wu Cru game, but was never released as a Minifigure nor appeared in the show, as she was not a ninja at the time. The design is similar to that of her Techno Samurai X outfit, but with a ZX mask.

Stone Warrior Armor

This suit resembles Techno, with more details that make them look more like armor. They are the first suits in the show since the Ninjas' DX suits to be based off of only two colors (gray/silver and the color respective to each Ninja), except for Zane's. The suits have each Ninjas' respective dragon symbol as a medallion in the middle center of their torsos, but are otherwise identical to one another. The Techno Silver that Zane wears has light blue, jagged lines on it, as well as some gold highlights. Zane's variant also has his elemental symbol, instead of his standard dragon one, as a medallion on his lower torso.

The Armored Techno gis are from the Stone Warriors when they served the Overlord in the fight against the First Spinjitzu Master. The armor makes the wearer immune to Golden Power.

Zane and Lloyd's Armored Techno gis appear in 70728 Battle for Ninjago City, while Kai's appears in 5004077 Minifigure Pack as one of the minifigures. Jay's appears as a complimentary minifigure in LEGO Ninjago Character Encyclopedia Updated and Expanded, and Cole's appears in 5004393 Stone Armor Cole.

Tournament Robes

These color-coded gis have padded chestplates and a black strap running from the left shoulder to the right hip. On the strap is all four of the Tournament Ninjas' symbols, with only that Ninjas' symbol appearing on a gold badge on the right shoulder. They appear lighter than previous uniforms, exposing the arms and collars of the wearers. The hairpieces and bandanas are identical to the Techno Robe versions of the Ninja.

In the cartoon, the Ninja received their Tournament gis from Chen when they attended the Tournament of Elements. It is the first suit to not be worn by all of the active Ninja; Zane never received his suit, relegating it to appearing only in an accessory set, 853544 Ninjago Accessory Set.

Jungle Gi

These outfits are a step back to the older Ninja uniforms, being full-body gis with a number of belts and pouches over the chest. They are the first uniforms since the Elemental Robes to have hoods, which each bear a Japanese character on the forehead. They are also the first uniforms where the only ninja with shoulder pads isn't Lloyd.

It is presumed that Kai, Jay and Lloyd obtained their Jungle outfits from Chen sometime before "Spellbound," as this was their first appearance, but no background was given. (Zane had his outfit since "The Invitation," while Cole received his in "The Forgotten Element" upon getting his powers back).

This uniform is worn by Kai, Cole, Jay, and Lloyd. Zane wears a modified version in his Titanium form, with metallic elements and shoulder pads resembling his ZX form's outfit. Skylor also wears this outfit, despite not being an official member of the team. Nya appeared in Jungle robes in the 2016 Wu Cru game, but was never released as a Minifigure nor appeared in the show, as she was not a ninja at the time.

Deepstone Armor

These outfits are a similar type of robe to the Elemental Robes, with each Ninja wearing a mostly black gi with shoulder pads, and highlights in tone with their elemental color.

In the series, this uniform was purchased by Wu some time between "The Corridor of Elders" and "Winds of Change." Lloyd wore his before and after his possession by Morro, while the other Ninja wore theirs throughout the whole Ghost Warrior crisis. Cole, however, never wore the Deepstone shoulder pads due to being turned into a ghost.

This was the first ninja outfit to be worn by Nya. Her version of the Deepstone robe includes gold shoulder pads and a maroon gi with some light blue details.

Airjitzu Gi

The Airjitzu Ninja are very similar to the NRG variant, although it represents when the Ninja unlock Airjitzu. The main suit consists of a mask similar to the ZX Ninja but lacking decoration. Nya's Airjitzu suit is the only one to not be mainly black, with maroon as the main color instead.

Zane, Cole, Jay, Kai, Lloyd, and Nya all have Airjitzu variants. These suits do not appear in the TV series.

Destiny Robe

These new Ninja outfits are similar to the Deepstone outfits (reusing the leg pieces and masks), but add an Airjitzu symbol on the torso and a new armor piece that holds katanas. The Airjitzu symbol is similar to side view version of the regular dragon symbols. In the show, the outfits are called Airjitzu suits, since the previous Airjitzu variants were not used in the show. Unlike other suits, these were "earned" by each Ninja when they mastered Airjitzu (which only excluded Nya temporarily).

They also introduce new styles of the Ninjas' elemental symbols (along with the traditional symbols on the backs of each torso), incorporated into the Airjitzu tornado and individual animal depictions on the torso. The animal images have never been used before, and similarly to the dragon symbols, are not explained in the TV series. They also share similar colors with each Ninjas' previous dragon symbol, and details pertaining to their elements. This version is also the first time Nya is wearing the same style of Ninja outfit (including color scheme) as the rest of the Ninja. Lloyd has two other variants of this suit, one with full black armor similar to the kendo suits with a gold ring in the center, and the other being his replaced hood with the same neck-hood as the techno and tournament variants.

Honor Robe

Used in "Day of the Departed," these Ninja outfits are primarily an amalgamation of the Ninjas' ZX, Original, and Deepstone outfits, with the armor piece from the Skybound gi. They also bring back the old styles of the Ninjas' elemental symbols and add a secondary color instead of the solid black on the Ninjas' hoods.

Fusion Armor

Introduced in Hands of Time, these Ninja suits look similar to the the Deepstone and Day of the Departed outfits, reusing the former's armor pieces and the latter's hood (except for Nya). Despite including elements from the previously mentioned suits, these suits have a completely new design for the torso and legs, with a highly detailed samurai theme. They also all have black arms.

Resistance Robes

In the eighth season of Ninjago, the Ninja have new suits similar to the Ninja Force suits, by reusing the two-piece Ninja hood but now in reverse color (except for Cole and, to an extent, Zane), along with the armor piece from the Skybound suits. Despite including elements from the previously mentioned suits, these have a brand new designs on them.

Spinjitzu Masters

The Spinjitzu Masters outfits are very similar to the Airjitzu suits, although they represent when the Ninja are doing Spinjitzu. The masks of these suits consists of (for each Ninja, except for Jay.) the top half of their LEGO Ninjago Movie mask, and the bottom half of their EG mask. Their torso seems to be the black "training" gi but enhanced by their elemental power (with the exception of Cole and Zane where it seems to be their Endless Griefs or Ninjago Movie suits) They all have colored hands that match their element, and black sleeves (except for Cole). They all share the same legs, which are the same ones for the new training gi.

Jay is the only one who doesn't have a Spinjitzu Master variant due to his Endless Griefs.

Hunted Robes

The Ninjas' gi in Season 9 all use their The LEGO Ninjago Movie (and EG faces) for heads, and a mask that consists of the top half of their EG mask and a black bottom half (Cole is the exception, as his mask remains the same because both halves are mostly black). Despite this, the masks were only used in two episodes. Lloyd used his in Operation Free Ninjago City!

These suits do not appear in the TV series.

Zane, Cole, Kai, Nya, and Jay's suits consist of their torn EG suits with added armor elements (excluding Cole, whose outfit does not change following the conclusion to Endless Griefs). Lloyd's suit is brand new, with the Wu Cru symbol emblazoned on it.

Unlike his fellow ninjas, Jay's top of his suit is completely torn and shows scars on his chest.

Reused Robes

The Ninjas' gi in Season 10 all use their original robes and armor which are used by the Ninjas from the previous seasons. Zane's robe is reused from Season 4, Lloyd's armor is reused from Season 5, Cole's robe is reused from Day of the Departed, Kai and Nya's armor are reused from Season 7, and Jay's robe and eyepatch is reused from Season 6.

Jay received his Destiny Robe, along with his eyepatch, from his real mother in "Lightning Reunion". Lloyd received his Deepstone Armor from his father. Zane, receives his Jungle Gi, Cole receives his Honor Robe, Kai and Nya received their Fusion Armor in the same episode.

Dragon Masters

The Dragon Masters suit are very similar to the EG's suits, by reusing the latter's hood but the torso has some new details that look like a pilot outfit. Wu also has this variant.

These suits do not appear in the TV series.

Season 1: Rise of the Snakes

  • Lloyd gets kicked out of Darkley's Boarding School after spending his whole life there and makes his journey to Jamanakai Village, in an effort to become like his father. He terrorizes the village, but is soon suppressed by the Ninja.
  • Seeking revenge on the Ninja for humiliating him, Lloyd releases the Hypnobrai from their tomb. Lloyd accidentally tricks the Hypnobrai General, Slithraa, into hypnotizing himself and gains leverage over the tribe.
  • Lloyd returns to Jamanakai Village with the entire Hypnobrai tribe. The tribe uses hypnotism to take control over the citizens. The Ninja arrive to stop him and defeat the Hypnobrai, freeing the people and taking the tribe's staff. However, Skales (the Hypnobrai second-in-command) manages to post-hypnotize Cole.
  • Zane finds a Falcon after another evening of feeling left out from the Ninjas' antics, and he follows the Falcon to a Treehouse being constructed by Lloyd and the Serpentine. He informs the Ninja of his discovery, and they begin their mission to destroy it. Just before they finish the destruction, Skales uses the previous post-hypnotic command on Cole to attack the Ninja. As the Ninja struggle to fight Cole, Master Wu and Nya arrive on Kai's dragon, using a flute (later to be described as one of the flutes of the First Spinjitzu Master used to banish the Serpentine in tombs) to snap Cole out of his trance. The group hurry back to the unguarded Monastery, only to find that the Hypnobrai had burned it down in search for their staff. Cole, Jay, and Kai blame Zane for the loss of their home, and in the ruckus, no one notices Zane flying off on his dragon. Later on, the Ninja try to make the best of their situation, but immediately regret what they had said to Zane. To their surprise, Zane returns, conveying to them that he had not been hurt by what they had said, but merely had seen and followed the Falcon again. He then leads them to where he had followed the falcon to: an abandoned ship in the middle of the Sea of Sand, that would be their new home, and goes by the name "Destiny's Bounty."
  • After being betrayed by the Hypnobrai, Lloyd uses a map of other tombs to find the Tomb of the Fangpyre and reawakens the Fangpyre Tribe.

"An Underworldly Takeover"

  • Garmadon's Destruction Spinjitzu is seen for the first time when he fights Samukai for control of the Skulkin army.

Season 1

Intro

  • Each of the four Ninja are introduced with their Golden Weapon's abilities and then their corresponding Spinjitzu.
  • Halfway through the season, the Ninja switched from their original suits to their ZX suits.

"Rise of the Snakes"

  • When the Fire Sword overheated, Kai tried to use Fire Spinjitzu to cool it down but failed.
  • When confronted by several Hypnobrai in Jamanakai Village, Kai tried to use Fire Spinjitzu to defeat them, but lost control and crashed into a wall.
  • After Zane froze Lloyd's candy cart he used Ice Spinjitzu to hurry over to Lloyd.

"Home"

  • While training, Kai practiced his Fire Spinjitzu but slipped when Zane froze the course.
  • While training, Zane used Ice Spinjitzu to freeze the training grounds.
  • Zane and Jay used Ice and Lightning Spinjitzu respectively to cut the support ropes of Lloyd's Treehouse Fortress.

"Never Trust a Snake"

  • The Green Ninja's Spinjitzu is seen briefly for the first time, in Zane's dream.

"Can of Worms"

  • After Lloyd turned his ninja suits into pink ones, Zane's Spinjitzu tornado is pink.

Season 2

Intro

  • The Ninja are introduced in the same way as the second half of Season 1.
  • After the episode "Child's Play," Lloyd was introduced using his elemental power, and then would use his Spinjitzu like the others.
    • This debuted the first close-up look at Lloyd's Spinjitzu.

Pirates VS. Ninja

  • Kai used Spinjitzu to beat Dareth.

Overview

  • The Ninja no longer possessed their Golden Weapons, and therefore lacked elemental Spinjitzu. This affected their fighting advantage, and they logically used the martial art less.

"The Day Ninjago Stood Still"

  • Misako does non-elemental silver Spinjitzu.

"Return of the Overlord"

  • Nya does Spinjitzu for the first time while corrupted by Dark Matter. Its color is crimson red with some gold streaks.

Season 3

Overview

  • The Ninja once again had no active elements, and relied on their Spinjitzu less than ever. Despite this, the Techno Blades were effective against the Nindroids, making Spinjitzu somewhat useful.

"The Surge"

  • Lloyd's Golden Power Spinjitzu is debuted upon battling the Nindroids for the first time.

"Blackout"

  • Because Zane gave half of his power source to P.I.X.A.L., he was unable to use Spinjitzu on his own. Though, by working together, the two successfully performed the martial art, defending themselves against the other Nindroids.

"The Titanium Ninja"

  • The Golden Master, along with his Golden Mech, performed a large scale form of Golden Power Spinjitzu (possibly the largest and most powerful ever used). With it, he was able to pull objects of many sizes from around him into the vortex (presumably destroying them).

Season 4

Intro

  • The Ninja (other than Zane), Wu, Garmadon, and Nya all do Spinjitzu together at the end of the intro.
  • For the first time, Master Garmadon's Spinjitzu (purified of Darkness) is shown as a dull silver, and Nya's Spinjitzu is a dark red.
    • This indicates that Garmadon's Destruction element returned to a balanced state,[1] and that Nya had learned Spinjitzu at some point.
      • According to one of the show's co-creators, though, Garmadon's Spinjitzu, after being purified, is still purple.[2] This indicated that its color in this intro is non-canon.

Overview

  • Despite having active elements, all the Ninja but Lloyd and Kai stopped using their Spinjitzu, as they no longer fought enemies, taking on full time jobs (Lloyd continued to train as a ninja, and Kai became a competitive fighter).
  • After entering the Tournament of Elements, the Ninja still refrained from performing Spinjitzu, except in dire situations when not competing. This may be because they considered using such a rare and powerful martial art to be an unfair advantage to the other competitors (outside of the Tournament, they use the ability to even the odds of an outmatched fight).

"Spellbound"

  • While training under Master Chen, Garmadon was forbidden to use Spinjitzu, though he used it to win a fight against Clouse that ended up granting him lordship.
  • When trying to flee from Chen and Skylor, Kai uses fire Spinjitzu to destroy the ice they were all standing on causing the ice to break but Chen subdued Kai with his staff.

"The Forgotten Element"

  • After regaining their elements and reuniting with Zane, the ninja did Spinjitzu to defeat Chen's forces as Nya expressed a smile at seeing them fighting together again.

"The Corridor of Elders"

  • While holding back Chen's forces, the ninja used Spinjitzu to prevent the fake Anacondrai from advancing.

Season 5

Overview

  • After losing their elemental powers, the Ninja could no longer perform elemental Spinjitzu. This would be especially ineffective against ghosts, which can become intangible.
  • Since Morro was able to command and control strong gusts of Wind, and Spinjitzu is a tornado-based ability, it became useless in combat.
  • Because the art of Airjitzu involves extreme spinning in a vortex (and even turning the same color as the user's element), it can be considered a branch from the original art of Spinjitzu.
    • It was also said that Airjitzu allows a "Spinjitzu Master temporary flight," so it's possible that only Spinjitzu users can perform the technique.

Season 6

"Misfortune Rising"

  • While fighting Lloyd and Cole, Doubloon uses Spinjitzu against the two of them.

"Wishmasters"

  • After Cole had wished for Vengestone to strengthen the Ninjas' elemental powers, they got out of control, and in order to regain control, the Ninja broke the bonds of the Vengestone shackles. Despite this, there appeared to be some heightened power that was still unused; which showed when Cole, Lloyd, and Jay then did Spinjitzu that sparked and had deeper coloring.

"Day of the Departed"

  • When the Ninja arrived at the museum, all six used Spinjitzu to enter the building as quickly as possible, revealing Nya's spinjitzu as dark blue and noticeably smaller than the others'.

Season 7

"The Hands of Time"

  • Master Wu and the Ninja use their Spinjitzu during their battles with Acronix.

Season 8

"Tears of the Blue Ninja"

  • Master Garmadon and the Ninja (except for Jay) use their Spinjitzu during their battle against Harumi, Killow and Ultra Violet.

Season 10

"Reach for the Thunderstorm"

  • Master Garmadon uses Spinjitzu against Killow and Ultra Violet.

"LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Rise of the Spinjitzu Ninjas of Ninjago!"

  • Aquos uses Spinjitzu after greeting Wonder Woman.
  • The Ninja use Spinjitzu after accepting to join the League in excitement.
  • Bluelectro uses Spinjitzu to defeat Gotham's criminals.
  • Aquos uses Spinjitzu during her fight against Cheetah.
  • Ice-tanium uses Spinjitzu during his fight against Killer Croc and Gorilla Grodd.
  • Bouldergeist uses Spinjitzu during his fight against Trickster and Captain Cold.
  • Energon uses Spinjitzu during his fight against Atrocitus, Larfleeze, and Sinestro.
  • The Ninja use Spinjitzu during their battle against Darkseid and Desaad.
  • The Ninja use Spinjitzu at the end of the film.

"LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Return of Ninjago City"

  • Aquos uses Spinjitzu against Vandal Savage.
  • Bouldergeist used Spinjitzu on Plastic Man and Aquaman.
  • Bluelectro uses Spinjitzu on Dareth.

Known Users

Briefly

Types of Spinjitzu

Non-Canon

  • Imagination - used by Neido (only in LEGO Universe)
  • Serpent Spin - used by most Serpentine (only in comics and sets)
  • Maelstrom - a power similar to Spinjitzu that the Skulkin wield physically through the act of roughly spinning in a sloppy fashion (used in comics, sets, and LEGO Universe)

Notes

  • Each of Ninjago's Dragons are able to perform something similar to Spinjitzu when they cross over to the Underworld.
    • Given that the First Spinjitzu Master is half Dragon, this makes sense.
  • Although the element of a user's Spinjitzu is always based on their natural elemental affinity, the color of the resulting tornado appears to also be influenced by the color of their outfit. For instance, Zane's Spinjitzu generated a pink tornado in "Can of Worms," after his white gi was turned pink after being washed with Kai's red gi. This leads to the conclusion that both attire and element contribute to the Spinjtizu's color (or possibly that it defaults to the elemental color, and only if the user's attire is entirely one color does it change).
    • It is possibly that when a user is dressed completely in one color, the elemental color and attire's color combine (Zane's white element and pink gi would create the pink spinjitzu, and the other ninja have all justified the possibility throughout their uniform changes).
  • In “Return of the Overlord,” a Dark Matter-infected Nya uses what appears to be a crimson Spinjitzu tornado when she first attacks the Ninja. After the defeat of the Overlord Nya was cured from the corruption from the Dark Matter.
    • After becoming the Master of Water, her Spinjitzu's color has become dark blue (however, as of Season 8, her Spinjitzu tornado color has become light blue).
  • Misako is one of only three people who don't have elemental powers, but use Spinjitzu (the others being Doubloon and Master Yang). When she was young, she trained with Wu and Garmadon.[3]
    • Doubloon trained in Spinjitzu at some point, long before he became a thief.[4]
    • Yang learned Spinjitzu at some point, and used it to develop Airjitzu. He has never used the original technique on-screen.
  • In a scene during "Day of the Departed," Cole's Spinjitzu has a ghostly green glow to it. This is the only time in the series that this is seen.
  • In the eighth to tenth seasons, each of the Ninjas' (except for Jay) Spinjitzu dramatically changed, having a more elemental redesign. Master Garmadon's tornado also changed, matching Lloyd's with the addition of their respective color-schemes, but lacking sparkles. The Spinjitzu animations returned to a less detailed style akin to earlier season in the DC films.
    • Kai and Zane’s Spinjitzu looks more like a spinning sphere with parts that represent their elemental powers.
    • Lloyd’s Spinjitzu tornado looks more detailed, but less individualized than the other Ninja, as it is a basic tornado of energy.
    • Nya’s Spinjitzu looks like a water cyclone, and is now a light blue color.
    • Cole’s Spinjitzu has a more brown-ish color, and it has rocks circling around it.
    • Jay's Spinjitzu tornado appearance has never appeared throughout the eighth season.
  • The Ninja (as of Season 8 except for Jay) have their own individual warming up to it:
    • Lloyd performing windmill arms.
    • Zane does a spinning handstand.
    • Kai does three turns in the air.
    • Nya does a turn and then a back flip.
    • Cole hits the ground.
  • As of Season 8, whenever Cole uses Spinjitzu while his Earth Punch is active, his Spinjitzu will leave behind a trail of magma.
  • Elemental Powers can be used while using Spinjitzu, shown when Kai is able to melt floors and ice and Zane froze Ultra Violet.
  • Master Garmadon has done it the fewest times of the original main characters. The only episode where he has performed Spinjitzu in the present is "The Royal Blacksmiths" before he was purified. The only episodes and film where he has performed Spinjitzu in the present after returning to Ninjago completely purified are "Tears of the Blue Ninja", "Empress Harumi's Destruction", "Reach for the Thunderstorm", and "LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Return of Ninjago City." However, he is also seen doing it in the past in "An Underworldly Takeover," "Spellbound", and "Lost in Time."

Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Season 8: Endless Griefs Designs

All the Ninjas' designs (except for Master Garmadon) have been changed so the transition for new fans that came from The LEGO Ninjago Movie would be easier. Now all the Ninja look similar to their movie counterparts.

  • Kai has a shorter version of his movie hairpiece and his movie self's thinner eyebrows. Tommy Andreasen said specifically that he didn't like Kai's movie counterpart's hair, so he shortened it. It is also now reddish-brown.
  • Jay has freckles and lost the notch on his eyebrow. The Hageman Brothers said that he always had freckles, but they never knew they were there. He has his movie self's dark-brown hairpiece, but his freckles are lighter and less apparent.
  • Cole's scar has now faded and is no longer visible, but it can be seen when he uses his RX powers. He has longer hair and his eyes now have a more relaxed look to them, as his movie counterpart does. He has his movie self's eyebrows. His RX powers are now yellow-ish orange.
  • Zane has a new holographic projector that allows him to "transform" into anyone and change from titanium form to human form, without having actual flesh. He now has his hairpiece from the movie, and the same blue eyes in human form. Of the ninja, he looks the most like his pre-Season 8 self, with the same eyebrows and mouth, and his Titanium form having the same face, albeit with a scratch on the upper left side. His face also no longer turns blue when his hood is up.
  • Lloyd looks nearly identical to his movie counterpart, with longer hair and green eyes that glow when he uses Spinjitzu. However, while in the movie Lloyd has a mostly black suit with green accents, the opposite is true for the show.
  • Nya's hair is wilder and she has a mole on her cheek. According to Tommy Andreasen, Jay refers to it as "a mark of eternal beauty." She has her movie hair and mouth, and looks nearly identical to her movie counterpart, similar to Lloyd.
  • All of the Ninja (except for Nya and Jay) now have their weapons from The LEGO Ninjago Movie.

Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Season 8: Endless Griefs Notes

  • Echo Zane was originally confirmed to return for this season, but never made an appearance. As confirmed by the Hageman brothers in November 2015, there were originally plans for Echo Zane to be revealed as the true identity of Mr. E, as Harumi would've found him at the Lighthouse Prison and upgraded him. The concept was scrapped and isn't canon, as the Hageman brothers felt there wasn't time for it.
  • Season 9 and Season 10 were developed as companions to Season 8. All of them together form a 20 episode arc.
  • Despite Lloyd having a new voice actor, and the Ninja all gaining new suits based on their movie counterparts, all the other Ninja retain their previous voice actors. The Ninja were redesigned to be closer to their movie counterparts in order to make the link between the show and the movie easier for new fans. The eighth season remains canonical to the previous seasons, despite the design changes to all of the Ninja. In Episode 75, Cole and Jay have a short argument where they mention their new looks may be a result of Wu’s trip through time.
  • Dan and Kevin Hageman returned to write this season. Previously, they handed over the writing duties to David Shayne for "Day of the Departed" and Season 7, as the brothers were occupied with writing their Netflix original series TrollHunters.
  • Like the previous four seasons, this season contains ten episodes.
  • Lloyd has a new voice actor, this being Sam Vincent, making this the first season not to feature Jillian Michaels in the role, and the first time one of the Ninja is given a different voice actor in the series.
  • In June 2015, Andreasen hosted a contest where Ninjago fans submitted their artwork that would be displayed by the a child around the age 9-10 that was huge fan of Ninjago. The character was revealed to be the young Harumi, before she lost her birth parents.
  • Tommy Andreasan posted a status on Twitter that one of the ninjas will endlessly grief over things he/she loves. The ninja was revealed to be Jay, after he lost his foster parents and home.
    • Tommy Andreasan also posted a status on Twitter that one of the ninjas will gain Jay's anxieties. The ninja was revealed to be Nya.
  • Various things were revealed in this season, such as the First Spinjitzu Master's origins, the heartwarming relationship between Lloyd and his father Garmadon, the identity of the new Samurai X, the fate of P.I.X.A.L., and how Zane inherited his Ice element.
  • For April Fools day, Tommy Andreasen posted a status on Twitter with four events from Season 8, three of which are real and one of which is fake. The four events stated that Cole would do a lot of singing, that there would be old recurring enemies, that there would be an old recurring friend, and that a new Ninja would join the team. The three confirmed events are that there would be old recurring enemies, as the Overlord was resurrected in this season, that Cole would sing, as he is singing in the third, fourth, fifth, seventh, and ninth episodes and in a teaser trailer. He also performs "The Weekend Whip" with most of the team in the ninth episode, and as Garmadon returns in this season. However, the one about the new Ninja was partly true as P.I.X.A.L. rejoins the team as "Samurai X."
  • Tommy Andreasen addressed Season 8 as "Next Level Ninjago," implying the major changes in the series' tone.
  • This season has a much darker tone than any other seasons, which resulted in the next two seasons having the same, as having four tragical scenes.
    • The first results in Jay grieving over the loss of his parents Ed and Edna after they were killed by the Sons of Garmadon in "Once Horrorstrucked, Twice Emotional".
    • The second shows Harumi wanting revenge against Jay whom she thought had killed her parents in "Tears of the Blue Ninja".
    • The third shows Jay losing his Elemental Powers and was nearly killed by Harumi and the Overlord in "Nonelectrical".
    • The last shows Lloyd enraged after Empress Harumi seemingly killed the ninjas in "Big Trouble, Little Ninjago, Fearful Jay".
  • On the teaser posters of the Ninja, they appeared to be in sorrows rather than courageous.
    • Kai and Nya were saddened.
    • Cole was holding an infant Wu in comfort.
    • Zane was looking down in despair.
    • Jay was grieving with tears trickling down his face.
    • Lloyd is the only ninja who's never in sorrows but enraged.
  • The title of the season and a clip were revealed at San Diego Comic-Con.
  • According to Tommy Andreasen, the first episode was made to be ready for release by November 1, 2015.
  • A 90-second trailer was released on May 5, 2015.
  • The art direction of Sons of Garmadon was based on the 1988 Japanese film, Akira.
  • Three teasers were released on May 16, 2015: Power of the Oni Masks, about Oni Masks, Mysterious Biker Gang, about the Sons of Garmadon, and The Reunion of Two Masters, about the reunion between Lloyd and Garmadon.
  • Ninjago City is now looking more like the city in The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
  • This is the first season where "The Weekend Whip" is not the theme of the intro, neither are the characters names shown as they appear on screen. However, the "Jump up, kick back, whip around and. . . ." portion of the Weekend Whip's melody can be briefly heard in the very beginning. The five Ninja sing it in "Nonelectrical."
  • This is also the first season not to have Ian James Corlett as part of the voice cast.
  • This is the only season to have no Dragons in the sets. This may be due to the abundance and heavy focus of Dragons in Season 9.
  • This is the second season to air entirely in Australia/New Zealand before the United States, with the first being Rebooted.
  • Despite the six Ninja receiving new designs from The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Misako and Garmadon remain the same designs from the previous seasons, although Misako's streak of white hair appears more prominent, after being absent in Hands of Time.
  • Cyrus Borg, Skylor, Ray, Maya, and Ronin made cameo appearances in photos in the backgrounds of certain episodes aboard the Destiny's Bounty.
  • All of The Lightning Ninja's Grieves was released on the Cartoon Network US app, website, and On Demand on March 30, 2016. The first season to be put online before airing on television was Tournament of Elements.
  • Season 8 is the first season to have two characters announce the title cards at the beginning of each episode (Lloyd announced episodes 75-83, and Garmadon announced the finale).
  • This is the first season to not have Master Wu announce the episode title at the beginning.
  • This is the fourth season where The Great Devourer triggered a season's main events. In season one, the Serpentine sought to awaken the Devourer, in Season 2 the Stone Army was awakened due to the Devourer's toxic venom seeping under ground, in season seven, the Devourer's Vermillion eggs were used by Krux and Acronix to maneuver the Iron Doom. In season eight, Harumi seeks to revive the Overlord as revenge against the one whom she thought killed her parents—Jay Walker.
  • This was the fourth season where the final battle took place in Ninjago City, following seasons one, two and three.
    • The final battle of season six took place in New Djinjago, which hovered over Ninjago City - although the battle didn't take place in the city itself.
  • This is the second season to have no Serpentine since their debut in season 1, the first being Possession

Spinjitzu Ninjas of Ninjago

The Spinjitzu Ninjas of Ninjago (also known as the Masters of Spinjitzu or the Wu-Cru) are a group of young warriors formed by Master Wu to protect the land of Ninjago from evil. They are the main protagonists of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. Since the team's formation, they have fought many foes. After Cole, Kai, Jay, and Zane united, they fought Lord Garmadon and the Skulkin, and later, the Serpentine, which were freed by Lloyd Garmadon. Lloyd would become the fabled Green Ninja, while his father, Lord Garmadon, returned and continued to pose a threat, alongside the Overlord and the Stone Army.

As the years went on, the Ninja faced further obstacles and adversaries, and even gained a new recruit in Nya, who joined the team as the Water Ninja. They battled the Golden Master and the Nindroids, Master Chen and the Anacondrai Cultists, the Preeminent and Morro and the Ghost Warriors, Nadakhan and the Sky Pirate Crew in an erased timeline, Clouse and the Shadow Army, and the Time Twins and the Vermillion.

After Wu's disappearance, Lloyd achieved the rank of Ninja Master, and since Wu's and Garmadon's return, they have fought Harumi and the Sons of Garmadon and the resurrected Overlord, Iron Baron and the Dragon Hunters, and Krogan and the Flyers.

History

Return of Lord Garmadon

Dreading the return of his evil brother, Lord Garmadon, who is desperate to claim the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu, Master Wu, the younger son of the First Spinjitzu Master, searched the land for four teenagers to find the weapons first. He came across the current Elemental Masters of the Elements of Creation: Cole—Master of Earth, Zane—Master of Ice, Jay—Master of Lightning, and Kai—Master of Fire, whose sister Nya had been kidnapped by Garmadon's army of Skulkin, though none of the four had unlocked their respective Elemental Powers yet. With Wu's teaching, the four became Ninja, learned the art of Spinjitzu, and retrieved all but the last weapon, the Sword of Fire. Unfortunately, Garmadon used Nya to lure Kai to the Fire Temple and stole the sword, the Skeleton Army sneaking up on the sleeping Ninja and stealing the other three weapons. Wu followed the Skullkin general Samukai to the Underworld, the Ninja following by taming the four Dragons who guarded the Golden Weapons.

The four watched as Wu and Samukai fought, each wielding two of the four weapons. Samukai eventually gained a hold of all four, however, their immense power overwhelmed him leading to his death, the ensuing tear through space and time allowing Garmadon to escape to the Realm of Madness, which would enable him to wield all four weapons without death. The Ninja, along with Nya, move to Wu's Monastery, the four Ninja continuing their training for Garmadon's return.

Rise of the Serpentine

Unfortunately, lack of action led them to laziness, preferring to play video games instead of staying fit and powerful. Unbeknownst to them, a new threat was brewing. Wishing to live up to his father's feared name, while harbouring feelings of sadness for his dad's departure, Garmadon's son Lloyd sought to cause chaos in Ninjago, and achieve his selfish desires in the process. After the Ninja made a fool of him, he inadvertently led to the successful release of all five tribes of the mythical Serpentine (one tribe, the Hypnobrai, burning down Wu's Monastery, forcing the team to relocate to the Destiny's Bounty, a damaged pirate ship Zane found by following a mysterious Falcon), now led by the last of the Anacondrai, Pythor P. Chumsworth, who seeks the Four Silver Fangblades to awaken the Great Devourer.

The Ninja battle the united Serpentine, while a mysterious samurai continuously steals their thunder. Eventually Lloyd, who was taken in by the Ninja after being betrayed by the snakes, is captured and Wu leaves to find someone who can help free him. On their own, the Ninja engage in battle with the Serpentine in order to stop the awakening of the Devourer, each one unlocking their true potential in the process (with the team learning Zane is a Nindroid). They also learn Nya to be the Samurai.

Wu returns with Garmadon to help save Lloyd, who to everyone's surprise (and Garmadon's dismay) is the Green Ninja, the warrior prophesied to defeat the "dark lord". Though the Ninja, with Garmadon's help, are able to recover all four Fang Blades, Pythor steals them and manages to awaken the Great Devourer, rhough it devours him and Wu. The Devourer is only able to be defeated by Garmadon, wielding all four Golden Weapons, the "dark lord" escaping afterwards.

Finding Wu in a puddle of the Devourer's venom, the Ninja promise to train Lloyd so he'll be ready for the decisive battle against his father.

The Overlord and the Stone Army

After the defeat of the Great Devourer, the Ninja, along with the Green Ninja, fought against Garmadon, the Overlord, and the indestructible Stone Army.

Attack of the Nindroids

Ninjago was at peace, thanks to Lloyd, who defeated the Overlord, but he returns, having integrated himself the Borg Industries' computers. The Ninja had to fight again with the Overlord, only now with an old enemy, Pythor, and the Nindroids.

However, the Ninja emerged victorious, but at the cost of Zane, who sacrificed himself. Unbeknownst to the others however, Zane's mind and spirit had transferred itself into Borg Industries' computers and managed to rebuild himself. Soon after however, he was captured and taken to Chen's Island.

Master Chen and the Anacondrai Cultists

After the sacrifice of Zane, the Ninja are divided, but everything changed when they discovered that he was still alive. To rescue him they had to go to the Tournament of Elements.

During this time, they discovered the truth of their powers after they met and befriended the Elemental Masters. The Ninja were also able to unlock the ability to use Elemental Dragons.

The Ninja allied with their new friends and old ones to make one final effort at the Corridor of Elders in order to defend their home.

With the sacrifice of Garmadon, Master Chen and the Anacondrai Cultists were banished to the Cursed Realm.

Morro and the Ghost Warriors

When opening the portal of the Cursed Realm, a ghost named Morro, who was the first student of Master Wu, possessed Lloyd and shortly after takes the Realm Crystal and liberates the Preeminent. The Ninja were faced with problems, as their power depended on Lloyd, which left them powerless, and Cole was turned into a ghost and Ronin betrayed them to the Ghost Warriors. However, things shifted for the better as they learned a new technique Airjitzu and Cole learned how to accept his form and learned some new ghost moves. Nya also learned she was the master of Water and trained to use her powers.

Eventually, Lloyd was freed of his possession and the Ninja regain their powers and put up a better fight with the ghosts.

In the end, thanks to Nya, who unlocked her True Potential, they defeated the Preeminent and Morr, thus sending them to the Departed Realm. With this, the Ninja achieved victory and gained a new member for their team.

Nadakhan and the Sky Pirates

When Clouse, who escaped the Cursed Realm, released Nadakhan, the Ninja will have to stop him before he marries Nya and gains infinite wishes. Unfortunately, he stole the Realm Crystal and released the rest of his crew, who helped him build New Djinjago. Jay's last wished caused everyone to forget the majority of the season.

Day of the Departed

Following the Sky Pirate conflict, Ninjago celebrated the holiday Day of the Departed, with the Ninja spreading out across the land of Ninjago to remember their ancestors. Zane remembers Dr. Julien at Birchwood Forest, Kai and Nya remember Ray and Maya at their blacksmith shop, Lloyd and Misako remember Garmadon at the Corridor of Elders, and Wu remembers his father at the Monastery of Spinjitzu, while Jay spends time with his parents at their junkyard.

In the meantime, Cole was suddenly forgotten by his friends and goes to Master Yang's Haunted Temple to settle his debt with the ghostly master. However, a sinister plot by Yang leads Cole to free the spirits of the Ninjas' old enemies from the Departed Realm, including Samukai, Kozu, Cryptor, Chen, and Morro, all of whom possess statues at the Ninjago Museum of History. Seeking revenge, the revived villains spread throughout Ninjago to confront their adversaries.

The ninja defeated their ghostly foes and gathered at the museum, where they were told by Wu and a redeemed Morro of Yang's intentions and how they forgot Cole. The ninja then realized of the danger Cole is in and rushed to aid him, while Morro returns to the Departed Realm at peace.

With the Yin Blade in hand, Yang proceeded to go to the roof of his temple and activates the artifact, using its reality-warping powers to open the Rift of Return. However, Cole, confronted Yang, they fought with the master being forced the latter to defend himself with the Yin Blade with success, slicing apart Cole's blade in the process.

However, when Cole's support by his friends powered him up, Cole used his charged fists to attack Yang, who attempted to shield himself with the Yin Blade. Unable to withstand the assault, the Yin Blade was shattered by Cole's attack, and with its destruction and the ending Yin-Yang Eclipse, the Rift of Return started to close as a result. However, a reformed Yang threw Cole through the rift changing him back to a human and the Ninja gained a new base in Yang's Temple.

The Time Twins and the Vermillion

After the Day of the Departed, the Ninja returned to Ninjago Museum of History and discovered that Master Wu and Garmadon confronted two Elemental Masters, after which the Ninja decided to stop the Time Twins, but it was too late as they had recollected the Time Blades. Finally they together with Kai, Nya, and Wu traveling to the past, 40 years before, after the defeat of Acronix and Krux. Master Wu sacrificed himself to stop them and Kai and Nya returned to the present to cure their rapidly aging father. Wu then resolved to defeat the Time Twins once and for all.

Realizing that they lost their master, the Ninja name Lloyd their new master. As leader, Lloyd had the team bury the time blade and to find their teacher who was lost in time.

The Sons of Garmadon and the Death of Ed and Edna Walker

One year later, the Ninja discovered that a group called Sons of Garmadon are trying to revive Lloyd's old foe the Overlord. They are also reunited with their master who is revealed to have been de-aged into an infant after his journey through time but is slowly aging back to normal and Lloyd's father Garmadon, who has returned from the Departed Realm to help them, while figuring out the death of Jay's parents. The Ninja also had to protect the Oni Masks, but what they did not have in mind was that the rogue princess Harumi was really the leader of the Sons of Garmadon.

The Sons of Garmadon finally revived the Overlord, who was able to defeat Jay with ease and leave the latter powerless. This allowed Harumi to take control of Ninjago after Kai, Nya, Jay, Zane, and Cole, along with Baby Wu, ended up in the Realm of Oni and Dragons when they escaped Harumi's creation, Colossus, leading the others to think they were killed.

The Rebirth of Jay's Lightning Elemental Powers

After being defeated, the Ninja have been separated as Ninjago falls under the control of Empress Harumi. One remaining ninja Lloyd and his father Master Garmadon form a rag-tag team with Dareth, P.I.X.A.L., and Misako. They were attacked by Harumi's forces but soon learn their friends were not killed but were instead teleported elsewhere. They are nearly defeated by the enemy but are saved and gather more allies in old friends to form The Resistance in order to defeat Harumi and her followers as well as save the city.

The four Ninja (Kai, Nya, Cole and Zane) along with a rapidly aging Wu must face the dangers of the Realm of Oni and Dragons by dealing with the threats of Dragon Hunters led by Iron Baron, as well seeking to free the dragons, find Jay and find a way back home to Ninjago.

In Ninjago, Lloyd was able to bring hope back to the citizens of Ninjago and personally opposed the Empress in the process. This resulted in Harumi leading an attack on the resistance's base and having most of his allies imprisoned.

Very soon, the marooned Ninja, along with their new master Jay's mother Jennifer Gordon, were able to ally with the hunters, defeat Iron Baron, and locate the Dragon Armor and gained new dragons to return home.

The Ninja returned to Ninjago and saved Lloyd's group by using the dragons to rescue them. While Jay fought Harumi, the Ninja evacuated the citizens who realized their saviors returned. The Resistance also broke out to help the Ninja in taking back the city. The Ninja dealt with the Colossus and with help from their allies defeated the behemoth while Jay regained his powers after overcoming Harumi. In the end, Jay kills Harumi with his newfound True Potential and the Ninja then leave Ninjago as the new team of Ninja are ready to be Ninjago's new protectors.

Spinjitzu Ninjas Trivia

  • All of the Ninja (and Master Wu, Misako, and P.I.X.A.L.) have changed their physical appearances in the show.
    • Jay, Kai, Zane, and Cole turned into kids in "Child's Play," but turned back to teenagers.
    • Lloyd was a child until he was hit by Tomorrow's Tea in "Child's Play" and aged into an old man in "Wishmasters." He reverted back to a teen due to Jay's last wish.
    • Zane was originally a Nindroid in human form until "The Titanium Ninja" and debuted in his titanium form in "The Invitation." And in "The Mask of Deception", he gains a cloak that turns him into his human form whenever he wants.
    • Cole was a human being until "The Temple on Haunted Hill," where he was turned into a ghost by Yang but turned human again in "Day of the Departed." He now has a scar from the transformation, though it has faded as of Season 8 and only shows when he performs his Earth Punch. In "LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Rise of the Spinjitzu Ninjas of Ninjago!", he was turned into a ghost again and can change back from ghost to human whenever. He now has a scar again whenever he's in his mortal form.
    • Nya's lips are no longer red following Season 6 onward.
    • In Season 8, all the Ninja have different appearances similar to their movie counterparts, however they regained their original appearances in Season 10.

    • P.I.X.A.L. originally had the same hair piece as Tox but in Season 8, it was changed to a silver variant of Nya's Season 8 hair, however in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Return of Ninjago City, it was changed back to a silver variant of Tox's hair.
  • Zane and Nya are the only Ninja to have died in the series, but all were quickly restored.

―Cyborg in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Gotham City Breakout
"Right! Now I want to have a word with Lex."
―Joker angered by Lex’s betrayal in LEGO DC Super-Villains
"You know Batman cannot say enough good things about you kids. He’s practically chatty about it! Well, for Batman anyway."
"Hey! We are not kids!"
"Like, actually a lot of people called us kids. Entitled with the word meddling.
"
―Superman meeting Mystery Incorporated for the first time in LEGO Scooby-Doo: Mystery Solving in Metropolis

―Fred telling the gang to runaway from Gotham’s criminals in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Rise of the Spinjitzu Ninjas of Ninjago!
"Ever since you joined the League, Bluelectro, you fought against criminals with ease and no fear after discovering your immunity to Scarecrow’s Fear Gas. You plotted, planned and reacted to a world of cowardly, superstitious criminals. With bravery, justice and honour for fighting crime and injustice in Gotham City, I’ve decided to make you my official sidekick from Ninjago."
"Wow. Thank you, Batman. I don’t have anything to give to you."
"You give us strength, Bluelectro. That is gifted enough. You have much to learn about being a caped crusader. Welcome to the Bat-family.
"
―Batman and his new sidekick Bluelectro in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Return of Ninjago City
"You know what, Cruzy? I’ve once fought against the Red, Orange and Yellow Lanterns when I first joined the League."
"Whoa! You were outnumbered! You could’ve gotten yourself hurt, Energon!"
"Nah, they weren’t a problem for me. I feel fine while I was facing them."
"How did you beat them?"
"Simple, flurry of energy punches, energy elemental powers and of course green spinjitzu. Green happens to be my favorite color, including yours. Ever noticed that the color green suits a lovely female Green Lantern like you who happens to be very beautiful? I did."
"Really? (Giggles) Thanks, Energon. You’re gonna have my phone number, right?"
"Sure thing, Jess. I’ll give ya my phone number. We’ll hangout together later. See ya, babe.
"

"It’s pronounced Ninjago and Ice-tanium, Princess Koriand’r Starfire of Tamaran."
"Really? You still have the guts, man!"
"I don’t have guts, Beast Boy. I’m a Nindroid.
"
―Ice-tanium, Starfire and Beast Boy in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Return of Ninjago City
"Bluelectro, what's that?"
"Hmm? Oh. It's a book of memories with me and my adoptive parents, Ed and Edna ever since I was a baby."
"Aww, he's so tiny and cute!"
"I'm basically twenty years old, Cyborg. Anyway, before I became a ninja, they've always taken good care of me."
"What are they like?"
"They're mechanics. Ed is always a nice man and a kind adoptive father. He encouraged me to fight against Nadakhan who has kidnapped my girlfriend and marry her so he could get infinite wishes. Edna had always make good crump cakes during the Day of the Departed. The place they raised me was the largest supply of scrap metal in Ninjago called the Junkyard."
"You lived in a junkyard?!"
"I used to live in a junkyard, until it was destroyed by the Sons of Garmadon and Empress Harumi. I was really upset for losing them. I hope they're in a better place."
"Don't feel sad. You used to be a rookie like your friends and your girlfriend. But now you and the other ninjas are powerful members. It's a rightful decision to look further into the future instead of the past, Bluelectro. You will be a great ally of Batman's bat-family."
"Thank you, Wonder Woman.
"
―Bluelectro talking to Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern, Superman and Wonder Woman about his book of memories with Ed and Edna in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Return of Ninjago City
"Fun fact, at the subatomic level, dead ends aren’t really dead ends at all. There is always space between the molecules that allow atoms to move between them and... and you don’t care."

―Bouldergeist talking about Energon’s relationship with Jessica Cruz while playing video games with Bluelectro, Ice-tanium, Aquos and Flamenado in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Aquaman: Rage of Atlantis

"Correct, Bluelectro. Aquaman and Aquos are the only members of the Justice League who can breathe underwater. It also allows Bouldergeist to stay safe on, in, out of, around or under the water.

"Jessica, I’m very proud that you conquered your stage fright and saved Robin, Batgirl, Mera and the Atlanteans from Atrocitus’ Red Lantern Rage."
"Thanks, Energon. I was worried that you were never coming back."
"Coming back so I can give you this? (kisses Jessica on the lips)"
"Yeah. That’s both our answer.
"
―Energon and Jessica reunited in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Aquaman: Rage of Atlantis
"How about some more of the Main Man? I'm back, baby!"
―Lobo in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Aquaman: Rage of Atlantis
