The line had been discontinued, but Lego had hinted at Lego Batman's comeback, telling Lego fans to "keep an eye out" for new sets. In 2011, it was announced by 2012 Lego Batman will return along with the original sets and new sets possibly for the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises or Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Still don't believe me? Online Article:

Traveller's Tales is at it again with a LEGO Batman Sequel; TT games is the brilliant company responsible for the latest LEGO game successes. But what is the story of LEGO Batman 2? We've spoken to TT's Jon Burton about the LEGO Batman sequel project and he states "The game will take the players, young and old into the dark alleys of Gotham City within both blockbuster success Batman Begins and The Dark Knight along with new adventures for the upcoming film The Dark Knight Rises through the eyes of Batman and the eyes of the villain"

He also stated "Much like Harry Potter, the films are quite dark and scary for the younger audiences, we've done our best to make the game more family friendly. Moments such as The Joker pointing a knife up to people's faces and Harvey pointing a gun at Gordon's son will be changed among the few. We are as much psyched as our fans are for this project and we can't wait for this project to be released. It's been an honor working with Warner Brothers once again for this project"

So there you have it, LEGO Batman 2 (working title) will be released July 2012 on Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, XBox 360, Playstation 3, Windows PC, and PSP.
