He reverted the edit because template changes have to be approved by an Admin. If you think the template is in need of change, then perhaps we could discuss this on the chat sometime?
Hello, I have noticed that you have been creating pages. I appreciate your effort, but please create your pages according to the community guidelines. Please add templates, regardless of if there is an available image. Case in point: Buffer. Please edit your pages and add templates, or we will have to spend unnecessary time deleting the page and remaking one.--Ahawk007 17:53, May 5, 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up, I will try to keep on top of that. Though, why delete the page when you could just add the template in?--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 19:58, May 5, 2018 (UTC)
Hi Kilmarnock, your contributions lately have been very good, and so I would like to offer you rollback and patroller status. Rollback is an extra little tool that allows you to revert any edit if you see fit to do so. Would you like me to give you the promotion?
- Sure thing Lavertus; happy to be of help.--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 19:14, May 19, 2018 (UTC)
You now have rollback/patroller privileges. If you need any help, feel free message me on my talk page.
Thanks. Wikia isn't giving new users the automatic welcome messages anymore so nobody knows what to do with new pages - apparently looking at another page is too much hard work. Anyway, your contributions have been brilliant so how would you like to be granted something we call 'Brickipedian of the month'?
- I would be honored!--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 20:22, September 7, 2018 (UTC)
Congratulations on being appointed Brickipedian of the Month for September 2018. A template has been added to your user page but you can obviously put that wherever you want on the page. Thanks for your contributions, which are very impressive.
I will highlight a thread. Would you like to join chat?
Message from WildlifeFan
How are you doing? I'm a big real Christian fan of LEGO.
Me, I'm a bit depressed momentarily regarding my activities on this wiki because yesterday, I forgot to edit an article on this wiki, thus I lost my chance to earn the "Wiki Hero!" badge (with only fifteen days to go). You see, ever since December of last year, I had been making good time by keeping up with my day count for other badges of that kind (which I already previously earned, which is cool), but I've been trying to earn 250 points from one Platinum badge all-year long just to try and become more popular (by ranking) on this wiki than I already am. But I'm trying to be positive at the same time because I know that there's always next year. In the meantime, though, I'm doing other things on this wiki to earn the same amount of points by doing a different variety of things (and to somewhat make up for what happened yesterday), such as sending you this message.
I hope you enjoyed reading this message. If you did, thanks, and God bless you!
RE: Template (on Lavertus page)
Hey there, just checked the problem on the TECHINCsets navbox and it seemed like you just missed a } in the 2018 part. Though, it was just what broke the template, but it was still unusable for 2017, 2018 and 2019, because you didn't put these years (with |2017=, |2018= and |2019=) which explains the fact that I still added a lot to the template. But anyway, that (honestly weird on wikitext's view) template is now fixed! Yada 22:04, January 30, 2019 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for your continued assistance. I would like to make you a Content Moderator, which will give you some of the tools (ie page deletion) that Admins have. How does that sound?
- I would be happy to accept-thank you kindly.--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 19:26, February 14, 2019 (UTC)
I have promoted you. I usually check a user's talk incase they reply but this time I simply forgot.
Hi, I would appreciate it if you checked the insights (mainly the pages without categories) whenever you patrol the Wiki. Also, do you have a Discord account? If so, it would be useful to have you in Brickipedia's Staff channel.
- I can certainly take a look at the Insights. As for Discord, I believe I have an account, but I’ve previously found the service to be poorly regulated as regards to users making offensive comments.--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 20:30, March 1, 2019 (UTC)
Hey Kilmarnock, did you create the page about Custom Redlinks? If you wanted help, you could contact Lavertus and I. I destroyed the page as it was blank, but if you want to you can send me a link of those pages. --Ahawk007 00:55, March 2, 2019 (UTC)
- Appreciate that. I vaguely recall making such a page. Any help you could give would be appreciated, though I now have the ability to destroy pages myself so hopefully I can handle some of it myself.--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 04:24, March 2, 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for alerting Shiva, however I am the best Admin to message as the others aren't as active as I'd like them to be. The user adding false info had been warned about it before so I just blocked him.
Page Creation Tool
Hi, we're introducing a new tool for users not familiar with article standards (you obviously don't fall into this category) that will generate a template for the desired article which, while not a perfect article, will at least meet our standards. If you make any pages in the near future could you please give this tool a go and tell me if you like it? Obviously you can still create pages the traditional way if you wish.
- Sure, I could give it a shot. How exactly do I access it?--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 18:41, July 26, 2019 (UTC)
Oh dang, sorry. Brickipedia:Page Creation Portal. Just type the full name of the page into the next to the button and it will make the template. Also, when you reply to messages it is best to click the 'talk' link in the user's signature so they get alerted to the reply.
Check your email :)
Hey Kilmarnock! My name is Mandy and I'm a Community Manager for the Fandom Movies/TV Vertical. I have just sent you an important email regarding your work on Brickipedia, so please check the inbox of your email associated with your Fandom account and respond when you get a chance :) Thanks! —idekmandy 03:29, March 16, 2020 (UTC)
Hi Kilmarnock, it has been noticed that you are an active user in the discussions threads, one of the few who seems to contribute regularly and understand what is and isn’t appropriate for discussions. As such, I was wondering if you would like the role of Discussions Moderator. Basically, we’re looking for people to monitor discussions regularly and remove anything that isn’t appropriate (i.e. spam, advertising, things not relevant to Brickipedia) while also engaging with people there so that they know what discussions are for. I reluctantly facilitated the move from forums to discussions some time ago so I am pleased that discussions are now active, however we feel that it has been getting a little out of control lately and so we hope that having Moderators will help discussions to finally become what the forums once were - a vital asset for Brickipedia’s community.
- Sure Lavertus; happy to help.--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 08:50, August 8, 2020 (UTC)
