Great, the admins dashboard also comes up on the upload photo :S
Also, I'm thinking we should remove the automatic unknown ages category on pages using Template:LEGOLANDride. Reason why is the only rides with age limits are the driving schools, the others have age limits (and things like shops for example don't have limits. - Kingcjc 16:02, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, I thought the thing at the top where it says I will reply to your talk page was a joke and meant that you would send all your replies to other users to my talk page. I didn't realize it recognized visitors. Just a misunderstanding. It is cool though.

It's just plain old HTML that I used. I don't know whether Wiki mark-up would work or not. :) Also it only works in the 'AKA' section. None of the other sections work. Kind regards.

(I was going to link to an example, but since its on simpsonswiki. net wikia blocks it under the spam filter >_> ) . It links to the first (or last) page of a season and so you can then explore the other season. I figured something like that on years may be useful because some years seem to have just one or two sets on. - Kingcjc 19:49, September 14, 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking just the first set on that year on the template. (Ie., the Simpsons one works so if you clikc next season, you get the first one. It works differently if you go back but that isn't relevant.) - Kingcjc 18:29, September 15, 2011 (UTC)

  • Hey, was just wondering if it was ok to remove entries with the TH in them in header and background (eg THBATMAN). If I remember correctly, they never worked, and you came up with a workaround for it. It's just that whenever I edit a page, I get a redlinked Template:TH under "Templates used on the current version of this page:". If they are needed that's ok though. Brickipedia Skin

Hi there,

I'm not sure if you know who I am, but I'm sure if you ask CJC or NHL or people like NBP, Mack or BF2, they'll tell you :)

Anyway, I wanted to talk to you about the Brickipedia skin that was proposed for the move, anyway, I'm interesting in working on it, even if the move is(n't) going ahead, I want t make it work. I've been hanging with some of the big name MediaWiki developers recently, and I'm meeting some of the in real life in November for the weekend. Fluent in HTML, CSS and mid level PHP and Javascript and know who to turn to incase of emergency. Used SVN, Google Code before etc... --Lewis Cawte (Talk - Contact) 21:07, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, I appreciate your comment! :) Also you may want to press Ctrl F5, I've made a few changes... :) Kind regards. SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 20:12, November 1, 2011 (UTC)

I used to use IE back up until last month when I switched to Google Chrome. About the bottom margin. I'm assuming you mean the bar at the bottom that says things like 'Admin' and 'Customize' etc... I'll look into making a white gap above it so that the content doesn't touch the bottom bar. Also, " funny lighter thin bar at the bottom". I'm assuming you're talking about the same bar. If so, I believe it would be against Wikia's policies to remove it. Kind regards. SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 20:27, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
I've undone the top bar as you asked. I do agree with you, it did look a bit competitive and a bit too far. Kind regards. SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 20:31, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
True, if Wikia wants to keep it's 9th or 8th largest (I've forgotten which) wiki then they should in theory be willing to allow exceptions for us otherwise they will loose a big sum of money if we decide to leave because of many things that Wikia restrict or don't authorise. :) Kind regards.
SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 20:41, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
One thing I'd really like to implement into our mainspace articles is this:
{{CSS|#WikiaPageHeader {width: 880px;} #WikiaMainContent {width: 980px; margin-left: 10px;} #WikiaRail {display: none;} }}

This stretches the page to the full width like on my talk page. However, I believe this is also against Wikia's policies and when I tried it, it got rid of the Search Brickipedia search box. :( Kind regards.

Another crazy idea of mine

Hey NXT, do you reckon we should have a Alternate Model/Combiner template at the bottom of alternate/combo model pages? I think it'd be a good idea, I might post about it in the forum. KoN Talk 11:46, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

I originally thought of it being like a navigation template at the bottom, I think fitting it into the infobox would be a bit cramped... KoN Talk 17:37, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

I see you're working on the Reviews skin. :) Kind regards. SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 17:40, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

I'd like too but I have no clue how to customise the look of a Wiki for a certain namespace. Is there somewhere that you're getting the CSS from or are you writing it yourself? :) Kind regards.
SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 18:14, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

What do you think of this new custom infobox- Custom? See it in action here. Jag 18:52, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

I don't mind, but some users might have their own custom theme, which should have a specific colour. Did I use the infobox template correctly? Jag 23:35, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

Hi NXT, I'm trying to copy over Template:Statustop2 from the Admin Tools Wiki. But I'm having a few problems. What I'm hoping to achieve is something like this where the Status is in the User Profile. But at the moment, all I'm getting is this where it's on the userpage. I've managed to get most of the images uploaded here for the template and I've added what I think is all the necessary code for the MediaWiki css and js but it's still not working. Please can you take a look for me? Thanks. Also this message on your talk page made my 10,000th edit! :D Kind regards.

Yep. Why do you ask? Kind regards. SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 19:47, November 22, 2011 (UTC)
That's because sub-pages of CSS and JS require the code to be imported to the masterpage for it to work. :) Kind regards. SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Devoted Editor of Brickipedia 19:56, November 22, 2011 (UTC)
If you want, I'll put all the code on sub-pages into the masterpage? I.e. putting all the code from MediaWiki:Wikia.css/profileRedesign.css into MediaWiki:Wikia.css if it will make it easier for you. :) Kind regards. SKP4472 Talk 13,998 Edits! Semantic stuff

  • Hey, since you know some semantic stuff, I'm just wondering if you know why this doesn't work
{{#ask:  ReviewBy::Nighthawk leader

What I want it to do is get all reviews by me (well, it'll eventually be by any specified user of course), but instead it gets every place where review is used:

Inside review, I've got ReviewBy::{}, ("1" being the username passed in the review template) and if you have a look at the semantic table at the bottom of any of the above review pages, it all appears to be fine. I've looked through semantic help pages, and I can't figure out what's wrong... thanks for any help :) Also, I haven't given up on hiding the semantic tables from the Wikia skin, just not sure what else I can do about it... might try using !important and see if that works NightblazeSaber 08:54, November 27, 2011 (UTC)

    • Just saw you were already using important in the css :P Changing the " to ! seemed to fix it... (not sure if it was working before or I just needed to update it, but I've never heard of "important before and the ! seems to work, feel free to revert if it did work though) I guess you won't see what I'm talking about with the tables now, here are some examples of what I was talking about there- [1], [2], [3] NightblazeSaber 08:59, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
      • Thanks for taking a look at it. I haven't really tried anything similar, the #show statements on the review infobox is about as close as I get, but they all specify a specific page. Just tried

      • and it returned every page with a set infobox, so it seems to just show everything where the parameter's present for whatever I do... the example on SMW makes it look so easy :P NightblazeSaber 22:43, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
        • Invisible tags or whatever they're called have worked for me- you need to do (and it doesn't leave a space- it tells it to be invisible, if you need a space you have to use   NightblazeSaber 22:02, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
