Vengeance is Mine! is the one hundred and twelfth episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, and the fourteenth episode of season eleven.

Plot[]

Aspheera's assault on the vehicle bay beneath the Monastery of Spinjitzu continues, with Wu, P.I.X.A.L., and the Ninja racing to finish the Titan Mech. They are then contacted by Nya, who informs them that she and her teammates have recovered the second of the Scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu. Learning of the danger, Lloyd's group races home in the Shuricopter and Land Bounty, with Nya urging Lloyd to heed Wu's warning about the scroll's power. Out of time, Wu's group hides in a compartment beneath the weapon bay control center as Aspheera's forces break in.

Though briefly baffled, Aspheera soon locates her enemies, but is temporarily driven back as P.I.X.A.L. pilots the now operational mech into battle with her minions. Unfortunately, Aspheera's scroll gives her the power to overcome the mech, seemingly destroying it, only for Lloyd's group to arrive with the other scroll. Lloyd, Jay, Cole, and a powerless Kai each wield it against her in turn, but ultimately it falls to Zane, who encases Aspheera and her army in ice. Before the Ninja can celebrate, however, Aspheera unleashes a final blast at Wu, which Zane intercepts, apparently resulting in his demise.

Later, Wu visits Aspheera, who is in Emperor Garmadon's former cell in Kryptarium Prison, and condemns her murder of Zane. However, Aspheera then reveals that she never intended to kill Wu, and that the blast which hit Zane has sent him to the Never-Realm. Wu rushes off in horror at the news; the scene then shifts to a snowy landscape decorated with the remains of the Titan Mech and a trail of footprints...

Notes[]

  • The conclusion of this episode parallels The Titanium Ninja, with Zane being thought dead after a heroic sacrifice only to be revealed to still be alive.
