Viper is a minifigure from the Dino Attack theme.

Description

Viper has three variants that differ in torso, arms, and gloves. The first variant has a dark stone grey vest with multiple tools, black sleeves, and dark stone grey gloves. The second variant has a dark stone grey torso with binoculars slung over his chest, black sleeves, and dark stone grey gloves. The second variant has a dark stone grey torso with a sheathed knife, bare bright yellow arms, and black gloves. All three variants have black pants and a black aviator's helmet. His head is printed with opaque sunglasses and a scar near his left eye.

A fourth variant of Viper features a dark stone grey torso with a bundle of rope. This version is permanently attached to a parachute and does not appear in any standard sets.

Background

In his younger days, Viper was a racer and had no prior experience with science or dinosaurs. When the Dino Attack begins, he is conscripted into the Dino Attack team. He believes in defeating the dinosaurs with speedy tactics, and secretly wishes to defeat the most powerful T-Rex on his own. He is good friends with his teammates, even managing to calm Shadow down. He joins them on their fossil digs to learn more about his enemy, even taking up the hobby of building models in his spare time.

Viper is also a Rank 5 networker in My LEGO Network. He is friends with fellow Dino Attack networkers Viper and Digger, as well as his fellow racers MacRacer, Pedalman Wheelie, and Radia. On his networker page, he will trade an Eoraptor Blueprint for 10 Blue LEGO Bricks; a T-Rex Blueprint for 10 Purple LEGO Bricks; and a T-1 Typhoon Sticker for 20 Red LEGO Bricks. He rewards players with a Dino Bone Gallery Module Blueprint in exchange for 1 Dino Scale to help his model collection. He also sends a Dino Buggy Chaser Sticker if asked for a sticker.

Viper Viper is no scientist and wouldn't even try to pronounce dino names - to him, they are all just "scales". Viper was drafted to work with the team and believes the best way to beat a "thunder lizard" is with lightning speed. "Strike first, strike fast, and get away clean" is his motto. He gets along well with the other team members and is usually the one to calm Shadow down. Although he hasn't told the others, Viper's goal is to beat the biggest and baddest of the Tyrannosaurs single-handed.

Viper is a dinosaur hunter. He got his first look at a T-Rex when he helped Digger and Shadow fight off an invasion of mutant dinos, and he's never looked back. He's no paleontologist, but when they're not fighting off attacks, Viper helps the guys on their digs. He figures the more they know about the monsters, the better they'll be able to fight them. He's tight with Digger and Shadow, and he also knows a lot of the racing crew from his younger days at the track. Radia, McRacer[sic] and Pedalman O'Wheelie are old friends. He has a lot of respect for anyone who can build a racing machine, especially a motorcycle. "I've gotten to be a bit obsessed with these things. I'm actually making models of the monsters in my spare time. Full-size, too. Need a lot of dino scales to cover these babies, think about it – a LOT of scales! Stay swift."
