- This statue is actually based on real-life Statue of David, a renaissance sculpture that was created between 1501 and 1504 by Michelangelo. In the LEGO Movie, the statue appears in plain white without printing to avoid any possible references to nudity.
- He has a same hairpiece as Sleepyhead's, Relay Runner's, Tennis Ace's, Nightwing's, and Faora's, but in white.
- He is the only Master Builder in plain color.
- He appears in The LEGO Movie's Blu-ray release titled "Michelangelo and Lincoln: History Cops" as a former partner of Michelangelo.
