- "I'd love to, but unfortunately Foundation Prime's location was wiped from my memory, along with all my important phone numbers and gluten free recipes. It's a real pain...."
- ―X-PO in LEGO Dimensions
X-PO is a character that appears in LEGO Dimensions and serves as the Adventure Worlds guide.
Background[]
In the opening sequence to LEGO Dimensions, X-PO and Lord Vortech arrive in Foundation Prime. X-PO goes scanning for something, and finds the Foundation Element pedestals. Lord Vortech says out loud his scheme to use the Foundation Elements to warp all of space and time. X-PO tries to explain to Vortech that if he were to do that, all of the universe could be destroyed. Unamused with X-PO's exposition, Lord Vortech disassembles X-PO and sends him to Vorton.
Later in the game, Batman, Wyldstyle, and Gandalf see a few pieces fall off of the Vorton portal. These pieces form X-PO, who will from then on in the game give the player hints on how to deal with certain objects.
Description[]
X-PO appears to be constructed with nine pieces, but only six different elements. The "arm" pieces are the same used for 2014 Hero Factory minifigures.
Video Game Appearances[]
Notes[]
- He is voiced by Joel McHale.
- Given his role in the game, X-PO's name could be a play on the word 'Exposition' meaning to reveal information on subjects encountered in narratives.
- X-PO can be built out of parts from the Gateway Portal. It is possible Wyldstyle may have "accidentally" built X-PO onto the Gateway Portal not long after it exploded. X-PO was banished to Vorton before Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle arrived on Vorton for the first time, and they didn't even notice X-PO being in distress, until after the sixth level of the game was completed.
