Yelena Belova is the adoptive sister of Natasha Romanoff and a Red Room operative. Following Romanoff's defection from the Red Room, Belova and other Black Widows were put through a mind-control program and became obedient subordinates. When she was freed from the Red Room's control, Belova joined forces with Romanoff, as well as their adoptive parents Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff, to bring down the Red Room once and for all. After succeeding, Belova spent two years freeing many of the remaining brainwashed Black Widows before she was killed by Thanos' Snap.
Upon her resurrection in the Blip, Belova attempted to seek out Romanoff, but was informed that she had died, with Valentina Allegra de Fontaine claiming Clint Barton was responsible. As a result, Belova came into conflict with Barton and his protégé Kate Bishop. After a fight with Barton, he managed to get through to Belova and explain that Romanoff's death was of her own choice to save Belova and the world. Coming to terms with Barton and accepting Romanoff's death, Belova abandoned her mission and departed.

White Widow is a purchasable skin in-game for 1,500 V-Bucks or with the Thunderbolts Bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks. She could also have been obtained for free by ranking high enough in the Thunderbolts Cup Tournament on April 25th 2025.
